First and foremost, I'm a WGA award-winning filmmaker that's lucky enough to write and direct film/TV with my fabulous and talented wife.  (linseyplusdane.com) But when I’m not doing that, I love photographing people.

I fell in love with portraits because of that rush that happens when we get that magical shot where everything comes together. When we know we captured one of those moments that can never be captured again. You know the ones. It’s this high that invigorates me and keeps pushing me to do the best work that I can.

When it comes to the shooting part, I love natural light. I love capturing honest, authentic moments that tell a story. And I love having a plan but being open to whatever happens. I’m all for you rocking a dressed up, alternate version of yourself but I promise I’ll never turn you into a photoshopped robot. Partly because I don’t know how, but mostly because it’s not my jam.

Because of my background, I like to treat these sessions like a mini guerrilla film shoot. Basically, we agree on a plan we’re both excited about, hang for a few hours and shoot some expected/unexpected magic. It’s really no more complicated than that. And it shouldn’t be. That’s why I do this and that’s why I want to do this with you.
